Meet the founder
Meredith White is a nonbinary artist, writer, and tarot reader based in Atlanta, GA. They graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with a BA in Art History and minor in Studio Art. They have been working with these crafts for over 8 years alongside clients such as: MODA, VISA, Heartspace Holistic, Living Walls, Atlanta United, HBO, MARTA, Atlanta Hawks, Treehouse Kid & Craft and Heineken.
Meredith founded Root Inward Studio in the summer of 2023 at the intersection of art, spirituality, and embodiment as tools for care. This carework expands their capacity for organizing, for designing, and for creating work that envisions new worlds. This work has shown up through the lens of quilts, billboards, candles, clothing, writing, branding and more.
